The Employment and Training Dept. is a resource centre which provides pre-employment assessment, jobsearch resources and tools, skills training, counseling and volunteer opportunities. Our department has been successful in assisting many people to obtain employment as well as helping employers find qualified candidates. Our job development team focuses on professionalism, quality services and advanced computer technology to guide job seekers and their potential employers to meet employee needs and create good job matches.

Our central location at the Spadina subway station, right on the Bloor line means a shorter ride on the TTC from virtually anywhere in the City. The Spadina Streetcar line is right outside our door giving access from the King, Queen and Dundas streetcar lines, as well.

Our center offers courses in the area of customer service, electrical license preparation for Internationally and Domestically Trained Professionals and Career Exploration and planning for individuals who do not have specific career goals and lack real work experience.
