| Luke is a graduate of York University's Schulich School of Business. Since graduating, he has worked with Ipsos ASI, the world's leading advertising and brand equity research firm, where he has done consulting work for Fortune 500 companies throughout the US and Canada. |

| Paddi-Anne Crossin, Vice President |
| Paddi-Anne first came to University Settlement as a parent who worked in the community and was instantly won over by the family atmosphere of the entire organization. She now has two children in the daycare program. A former elementary school teacher, she is currently a manager at CBC working in the area of digital social media. She is also a passionate urban cyclist who coordinates the Bicycle User Group at CBC. Paddi-Anne believes strongly in the importance of fostering community. She has been a member of the board since 2008. |

| Jason Wong, Treasurer |
| Jason joined the board of director in 2006 and is part of the Executive and Finance committee. He has over 6 years of experience in the finance field and is currently working as an Associate Director of Taxation and Accounting at UBS Bank (Canada). He holds a chartered accountant and certified public accountant designations, passed all 3 levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst exams, and is currently completing the CICA in-depth tax course. Jason is also part of the tax task force for the American Chamber of Commerce. |

| Jenny Friedland, Secretary |
| Jenny is a lawyer with a background in teaching and community development. She lives in the neighbourhood of Grange Park and is connected to University Settlement through the day care. Her father was a member of the University Settlement Board in the 1980s and her grandparents were also connected to the organization from its inception until the 1950s. Jenny is committed to the community development and believed that her experience in this area and her expertise as a lawyer will serve the Board well. |

| Richard Carmichael, Member-at-Large |
| Richard is the Executive Director at Frank Ideas and Execution Inc. Richard has 20 years experience in marketing and communications. He has three children who currently use the daycare, participates in swimming lessons and takes classes in the Music and Arts School at University Settlement. Richard is hoping to use his skills and networks to help advance University Settlement in their use of tools and technologies to expand awareness, fundraising capability and improve delivery of services and communications. |

| Jennifer Wan, Member-at-Large |
| Jennifer Wan completed her Bachelor of Business Administration at Schulich School of Business, York University in 2005. During her undergraduate studies, Jennifer was recruited as an associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she completed her CA designation in 2006. During her time at PwC she spent two years in the Audit and Assurance group, working on primarily financial service clients. In her third year, she transferred to the Canadian Corporate tax group, where she has worked with large public entertainment companies. Currently, Jennifer is working at Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc. as a Senior Financial Analyst, managing the accounts receivable department and supporting the controller with management reporting. In her spare time, Jennifer creatively couples her levying expertise with her love for dance by assisting at dance studios across the Toronto city and holding dance workshops for her friends and family. |

| Genevieve Brown |
| As owner of RightMind Communications, Genevieve has 15 years of experience in health care communications and strategic planning. Genevieve's key strengths include issues management, strategic planning and execution, meeting facilitation and the management of stakeholder relations and advocacy initiatives. She is a fundraising volunteer for Avalon Children's Camp, and a member of the International Association of Business Communicators. |

| David Colangelo |
| David holds a bachelor's degree in Arts & Science and an MA in Cultural Studies from the University of London (UK). He currently works for Social Housing Services Corporation, a Not-for-profit NGO in Toronto. As a researcher and policy advisor, he participates in recreation programs at University Settlement and is a volunteer in the English Cafe program. |

| Julian Diego |
| Julian Diego is a Program Coordinator/Youth Worker with Sketch Working Arts Studio for Street Involved and Homeless Youth. His work experience includes working with youth from diverse racial, ethnic and cultual background in a respectful, non-judgemental and compassionate manner, as well as with youth with special needs. This is Julian's third year on the Board of Directors for University Settlement. |

Ruzbeh Hosseini |
| Ruzbeh Hosseini received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto. He received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa and his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. Ruzbeh joined Heydary Hamilton PC in the summer of 2008 to complete his articles of clerkship and continued with the firm as a lawyer following his call to the bar in September 2009. Ruzbeh's practice is concentrated in commercial litigation with a particular focus in such areas as franchise litigation, breach of contract, and shareholder and partnership disputes. |

| Aasta Levene |
| Aasta Levene has been a member of the Keyboard Faculty of the Royal Conservatory of Music from 1987-2007, and is Chief Examiner Emeritus for RCM Examinations. Aasta is an adjudicator, lecturer and workshop clinician. As well she is a contributor, project editor and reviewer for many publications of The Frederick Harris Music Company.
She was one of a 3-member committee revising the RCM Piano Syllabus for 2008, and a member of a similar committee compiling the new series of RCM graded Piano Books published in 2008. Ms. Levene is a compiler for the RCM Licentiate Piano Syllabus, 2009.
Aasta is on the Board of Directors of University Settlement, participating in the music advisory committee and the 100th anniversary committee. |

| Jack Li |
| Jack Li works for a Canadian financial institution as an IT professional. He earned his bachelor’s degree in China and his master’s degree in US. He immigrated to Canada in 1997 and settled in Toronto in 2002. An outdoor person, he has strong passions for everything outdoor oriented: camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, etc. He loves social work and strives hard to contribute to the community he lives in. |

| Kenneth Mak |
| Kenneth has a degree in Engineering from Queen's University and is currently a software development consultant. His education and work experience has provided him with a strong technical background in various hardware platforms, operating systems, programming languages, testing methodologies and configuration management. A resident and homeowner in the Grange for the past 15 years, Kenneth is very interested in the neighborhood and enjoys having the opportunity to give back to his community. |

| Molly McCarron |
| Molly is a local resident and has sat on the Board at University Settlement since March 2008. She is a founding board member of the Grange Community Association. She is a public policy professional with communications experience. Molly has served on the Advocacy and Risk Management Committees. |

Sohrab Movahedi
| Sohrab Movahedi recently joined the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in the Fundamental Research area, focusing on the financial services sector. Prior to that, he spend 13-years at CIBC in various roles in finance and risk management. Sohrab graduated from the Schulich School of Business, Masters of Business Administration program and the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Engineering Science degrees and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.”

| James Roy, Past President |
| Originally a theatre director and the founder of the Blyth Summer Festival, James Roy has worked as a radio producer at CBC for a number of years. During that time he has produced scores of radio dramas and he is currently Executive Producer for CBC’s satellite radio unit. |
